Purpose :
PAL stands for Peer Assistance and Leadership. In PAL students are selected and trained to serve as peer helpers with younger students at neighboring elementary schools. It is an opportunity for younger students to interact with older positive role models and to develop closeness and trusting interpersonal relationships. PAL also meets weekly with student groups on campus. The group of 24 young people who make up PAL strive to set a good example for the community by having a positive attitude, good character, and a giving heart.
